What’s on the cards for Mirabilis in 2022?

A new year brings with it fresh opportunities and possibilities. As global economies begin to recover from the damage done by the Covid-19 lockdowns, we are excited about what 2022 has in store for Mirabilis.

From the start of the pandemic, we took on long-term bookings to maintain revenue while tourism was down. We also made some positive changes to our booking policies.

For those who miss their fur kids while on holiday, we are happy to announce that we now offer pet-friendly accommodation by arrangement at our London apartments.

Our expansion into the Portuguese market continues apace. The country’s warm climate, pristine beaches, thick forests, hidden lakes and impressive mountains, along with a low crime rate and an affordable cost of living, make it an ideal destination. Portugal has been ranked as the best place in the world to travel and work remotely in 2022, according to a survey by the travel research website, Momondo.

AAA23 – Showcasing the best in Portuguese architecture

In Lisbon’s exclusive, cosmopolitan area of Avenidas Novas is the prestigious new development AAA23, comprising 42 luxurious residential apartments and two modern retail units. AAA23 is within walking distance of multiple shopping centres and restaurants, and close to the corporate hub of Marquês de Pombal. The beautiful green space of Parque Eduardo VII is nearby, and there is easy access to the city’s main thoroughfare, Avenida da Liberdade.

The apartment interiors preserve historically decorative features, with natural stone and wood as the main materials. Contemporary essentials, such as double-glazed windows, spacious living areas, open-plan kitchens, air conditioning and high-speed fibre/wi-fi and home automation, are standard throughout the building. Two of the penthouses have their own outside seating area and swimming pool.

The construction of this impressive development began in 2019 and it will be completed in February this year.

LX Living – A bold new development

Located on one of Lisbon’s highest hills, LX Living is a brand-new, mixed-use development in Amoreiras, a sought-after, vibrant residential neighbourhood in central Lisbon. This prime location is just a short stroll from the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade, in the heart of the city’s gracious, CBD.

LX Living is a striking contemporary building that features dramatic cantilevered balconies and consists of 150 luxury apartments, ground-floor retail and a landscaped internal plaza, as well as a swimming pool and a gym. The apartments feature contemporary living areas, open-plan kitchens, integrated appliances and luxury finishes.

Designed by the highly respected Lisbon-based architectural firm Saraiva + Associados, the building is set to achieve iconic status in the heart of Lisbon. The project will be completed in September 2022.

The Marvilla Collection – Overlooking the River Tagus

The Marvilla Collection is an exciting property redevelopment project in Marvila, one of Lisbon’s coolest live/work/play neighbourhoods, tipped to be the Portuguese capital’s next big tech hub. It’s on the eastern fringe of Lisbon, between the modern business district of Parque das Nações (Park of Nations) and Lisbon’s picturesque old town. The creative and entrepreneurial neighbourhood offers quirky stores, art galleries, and antiques.

A redevelopment project, The Marvilla Collection is housed in an architectural masterpiece of a building which was originally used as a winery and its historic façade will be retained.

The Marvilla Collection includes Marvilla I, comprising 166 residential units. Marvilla II, with spectacular scenic views over the River Tagus, includes apartments and retail space. It is just 10 minutes by car from the Praça do Comércio – a large harbour-facing square that is one of Europe’s most beautiful. The Marvilla Collection will be completed later in the year.
